(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Sinclairville man was arrested after a traffic stop on Bloomer Road in the Town of Stockton early Saturday morning, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Bloomer Road and Route 380 at about 12:54 a.m. on September 5, 2026, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The driver was identified as Kristian M. Wright, 25, of Sinclairville. Following further investigation, deputies determined Wright was operating the vehicle without a valid license and allegedly possessed narcotics.
Wright was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to participate in the Centralized Arraignment Program.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Wright was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. He also received additional uniform traffic tickets.
The charges are allegations, and Wright is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
