(WNY News Now) – A 45-year-old Silver Creek woman was arrested after Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies investigated an alleged altercation in which a person’s breathing was reportedly obstructed in the presence of children.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Silver Creek address around 11:34 p.m. September 11 for a reported altercation.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that Tiffany M. Farley, 45, of Silver Creek, allegedly obstructed the breathing or blood circulation of another person while children were present.

Farley was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment processing.

She was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

Farley is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

The allegations are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
