(WNY News Now) – A Lockport man was arrested Tuesday following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Lockport Police Department.

LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Peter L. Reed of Lockport was arrested Sept. 15 on a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest followed an investigation involving the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Lockport Police Department.

Reed was taken into custody around 8 p.m. and held at the Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.

The charge is an accusation, and Reed is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
