(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old Panama man was arrested after Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies investigated a reported altercation on Madden Road in the Town of Harmony.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to Madden Road in Panama at approximately 9:12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, for a reported altercation.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that Kyle D. Elderkin, 33, of Panama, intentionally damaged property inside a residence.

Elderkin was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment through the County’s Centralized Arraignment Program.

The case is scheduled to proceed in Town of Harmony Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
