(WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Dunkirk woman was arrested on DWI and other charges following a traffic stop early Sunday morning in the Village of Fredonia.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at approximately 1:19 a.m. Sept. 27 on East Main Street in Fredonia.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver, identified as Daeshally Rodriguez, 24, of Dunkirk, was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Rodriguez was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, and unlicensed operator.

The case is scheduled to be handled in Fredonia Village Court at a later date.

All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
