(WNY News Now) – A 44-year-old Jamestown man was arrested following a reported domestic incident early Sunday morning on the city’s East Side, according to Jamestown police.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to an East Side residence around 4 a.m. Sept. 27 for a report of a domestic incident in progress.

Police said officers encountered a victim who had suffered injuries to the head. An investigation determined that the injuries resulted from a physical altercation involving Kenneth Mosely Sr., 44, of Jamestown.

Mosely was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He was charged with third-degree assault and was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
