(WNY News Now) – A 37-year-old woman was arrested on aggravated DWI and DWI charges after Jamestown police said she was found driving with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.

The Jamestown Police Department said officers were patrolling near Harrison Street and South Main Street around 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, when they observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and investigated the driver, identified as Mallory E. Anderson, 37.

According to police, the investigation determined that Anderson was operating the vehicle with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.

Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated and a traffic citation.

Anderson was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
