MAYVILLE – The arson trial for Jonathan H. Young, 21, of Jamestown, has been adjourned.

A court clerk told WNYNewsNow Thursday morning that a new date hasn’t been scheduled.

According to the clerk, the trial was scheduled to start on Tuesday, but required an adjournment because the trial of Leland Bresee is now starting Friday.

Bresee is facing a first-degree rape charge.

Young is charged in connection with 12 arsons within the Jamestown/Falconer area.

Young was indicted in August 2017 on 14 counts of arson and 11 counts of criminal mischief.

WNYNewsNow will continue to follow the story and provide further details when they become available.
