GERRY – Two Dunkirk men are facing charges after New York State Police said they found marijuana and a small amount of cocaine while responding to a report of a disabled vehicle on Route 60 Saturday.
Troopers said they found Donte Chambers, 25, and Tony Stewart, 36, with a flat tire on the side of the road.
Investigators said while they were speaking to the pair, they smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Following a search, they reportedly found a small amount of marijuana and two bags containing small amounts of cocaine.
Troopers said Chambers, the driver, was placed under arrest for
driving while intoxicated after allegedly failing several SFSTs.
Both are charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
They were taken to the State Police Barracks in Jamestown for processing, and taken to Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
