Case Advances Against Lakewood Man Charged With Multiple Sexual Offenses

MEADVILLE (Pa.)  – The case against a Lakewood man accused of numerous sexual offenses against a minor victim has advanced to the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas.

According to documents obtained by WNYNewsNow, Crawford County Court received paper work from Crawford County’s Magisterial Court on Tuesday regarding the case against 74-year-old Donald C. Shriver.

Shriver is charged with third-degree felony charges of corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses. Shriver is additionally charged with first-degree misdemeanor charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13, endangering the welfare of children and criminal attempt at indecent assault of a person less than 13.


Shriver allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a 12-year-old male during a time period of Aug. 18-20, 2017, on South Wayland Road, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

No new court date has been scheduled. We will continue to follow the story as it develops.
