Jamestown Man Charged In Robbery

RIPLEY – A Jamestown man has been indicted in connection with a robbery that occurred at 10 W. Main St. in the Village of Ripley on Jan. 14, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Dyquan Smith, 24, of 614 E. 6th St., was recently arrested by the Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division recently obtained new information on the robbery. Smith is charged with one count of burglary and four counts of first-degree robbery and four counts of second-degree robbery.

Smith was arraigned in Chautauqua County Court, where he was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $250,000 cash or $500,000 property bond.











Westfield man Tyler Bowen was arrested in January in connection with the robbery.
