
JAMESTOWN – On Friday and Saturday night, the Jamestown Rebels will be doing a Pink the Rink night during both games against the Northeast Generals.
The Pink the Rink games will be in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
There will also be opportunities for fans to take home one of the Rebels pink jerseys, with a percentage of the money made going to the WCA Foundation.
Fans are encouraged to come into both games at Northwest Arena with something pink to wear for the “Pink Outs”.
The Rebels are currently in second place in the East Division with 61 points, as the Johnstown Tomahawks have an 18-point lead in the division.
Meanwhile, the Generals are in fourth in the East Division with 39 points, and are only a single point ahead of the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Knights.
Alex Frye continues to lead the Rebels in all three scoring categories. Frye has netted 25 goals, and has assisted on 18 others for 43 points in 45 games played.
At goaltender, Ryan Keane has led the way between the pipes for Jamestown. This season, Keane has posted a 20-8-1 record in 31 games played. Keane has a save percentage of 0.922, and has allowed 1.9 goals a game.
For the Generals, forward Louis Boudon, like Frye for Jamestown, leads Northeast in all three scoring categories. In 44 games played, Boudon has scored 16 goals and has tallied 38 assists for a 54 point season thus far.
Puck-drop for both games will be at 7:05 p.m.
