Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Hit By Snow Plow

HANOVER – A 52-year-old man suffered serious injuries after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said he was hit by a private snowplow near the corner of Routes 5 and 20 Wednesday evening.

Deputies said the unidentified victim was walking westbound in the westbound driving lane when he was struck.

The victim was transported to Lakeshore Hospital with serious injuries.











Deputies said the driver of the plow, Joshua S. Blum, 32, of Dunkirk, was uninjured.

Authorities said the investigation continues.
