Jamestown Man Charged With Forged Instrument Possession

Updated reporting: Jamestown Police Officer Suspended Without Pay Following Arrest

JAMESTOWN – An area man was arrested Monday evening at 230 Schuyler St. for criminal possession of a forged instrument, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Kenneth V. Nellis III, 40, is currently in Jamestown Jail to await arraignment. Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings, when asked by WNYNewsNow what Nellis allegedly possessed, said the instrument was an “official document” but was unable to explain further due to the document being a part of evidence.
