
JAMESTOWN – Currently riding a five-game winning streak, the Jamestown Jackals will return home for games on Friday and Saturday night, both with a 7:00 jump ball.
On Friday, the Jackals (8-9), will host the 11-9 Raleigh Firebirds.
Jamestown will then host the 3-13 New York Court Kings on Saturday.
DeAngelo Stewart, a shooting-guard, is averaging 17.2 points for the Jackals, which leads the team. Stewart is also averaging more than five rebounds and is shooting 39 percent from three-point range.
Troy Taylor, a point-guard for the Jackals, is averaging 12.5 points, and nearly eight rebounds and five assists.
Combo guard/forward, Michael Davenport has averaged 15.9 points and is shooting nearly 47 percent from the floor.
Forward, Glenroy Carr, Jr. has chipped in with a scoring average of 14.5 points as well as more than six rebounds.
Starting for Jamestown at center, Daniel Mulamba has contributed this season with his defensive play and offensive rebounding.
Mulamba is averaging six points, but is also the runner-up in rebounding in The Basketball League (TBL), averaging 10.9 rebounds.
Mulamba leads the league in offensive rebounding, averaging 5.8 offensive boards.
The Jackals are in the middle of a huge chunk of home games happening in March, as these two upcoming games will be numbers two and three of seven games at home this month.
Their home games are played at the Physical Education Center at Jamestown Community College.
