Powerball Ticket Sales Expected To Rise For $750 Million Prize

NEW YORK – As the Powerball jackpot has climbed to the fourth highest in U.S. history, $750 million, vendors said they expect a rush of ticket sales just prior to the drawing.

No one has won the multi-state lottery since December 26.

The current prize is the largest since a $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot late last year.

One reason nobody has matched all six Powerball numbers in three months could be the odds… 1 in 292 million.

Wednesday’s drawing is set for 10:59 pm.
