GERRY – A Cassadaga woman was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after her vehicle collided with a deer at 6:34 Thursday morning on Rt. 60, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department.

Kelly L. Leydic, 26, was driving south when she struck a deer that ran in front of her vehicle.

Deputies said she was taken to the hospital by the Sinclairville Fire Department ambulance. No charges were filed.
