JAMESTOWN – The 40th annual Jamestown High School Battle of the Classes fundraiser will benefit the Child Advocacy Program.

School officials, in a news release Wednesday, said the battle will take place next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the McElrath Gym.

This year, students will donate all proceeds to the Child Advocacy Program.

It is the 40th anniversary of the Battle of the Classes, which will be recognized at the battle with comments from original class advisers, Carolyn Whitehead and Eileen Braumgard.

The event is open to the public with admission of $1, if purchased in advance from any student, or $2 at the door.
