SHERIDAN – Two Gowanda residents are facing charges following a burglary at a Pennsylvania Avenue house in the Town of Sheridan Sunday.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleged that Trista Taggart, 32 and Ryan Taggart, 39, entered a shed without permission and took property that did not belong to them.

Both are charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Trista Taggart is additionally charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Deputies said Ryan Taggart was transported to Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment through the centralized arraignment program.

Trista Taggart was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sheridan Court at a later date.
