WATKINS GLEN – Unsettling news for fans waiting for Woodstock 50, depending to which report you read the concert may or may not happen.

Woodstock 50 is supposed to take place in August around the same time the historic music festival took place back in 1969.

A slew of celebrities are attached to the event including Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus and Imagine Dragons.

According to USA Today a spokesperson for Woodstock 50’s financial partner says the festival has been canceled.

Organizers for the fest say that’s false and the concert is still on. Billboard Magazine also reported the concert is a no-go.

All of this upheaval comes as fans are still waiting to buy tickets.

They were supposed to go on sale last Monday but Woodstock’s official website has tickets slated to go on sale soon.
