The show will debut during an opening reception on Tuesday, May 21 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Jefferson Middle School gymnasium.

School officials said hundreds of works of art from kindergarten through 12th grade will be featured.

Art teachers from across the district select pieces of student artwork to include in the show. After the opening reception, the artwork will be on display at Jefferson Middle School through June 4th.

“The District Art Show is an opportunity for student artists at all grade levels to display their talents,” said Coordinator of Humanities Jamie Berg. “With hundreds of exhibits featuring both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work, there should be something for everyone. I am excited for our students and hope we have a great turnout.”

The community is encouraged to visit the art show at Jefferson Middle School during school hours by signing in at Jefferson’s main office or visiting the display during the opening reception.
