JPD Seizes Large Quantity Of Heroin During Traffic Stop, Woman Charged

JAMESTOWN – A joint investigation by the Jamestown Metro and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Forces led to the seizure of 51.1 grams of heroin and a small quantity of crystal meth from a vehicle that was pulled over on Fluvanna Avenue Extension Tuesday afternoon.

Stacey J. Peterson, 32, is charged with third and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Peterson was arraigned in Mayville and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail. Investigators were assisted by the New York State Police, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department and the Jamestown Police Department.
