JAMESTOWN – Clouds will be the story throughout the day today with the potential for some on-again, off-again showers.
Temperatures through the afternoon will remain below average in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s. Cloudy skies will remain through the overnight with a chance for showers after midnight.
Tomorrow will be another rinse and repeat. Mostly cloudy with a chance for afternoon showers. There may be a rumble of thunder as well. Temps will warm up slightly into the lower to mid 70’s.
We are keeping our eyes towards the end of the week as a potent weather system will likely move through the region on Thursday, producing very heavy rainfall. Most computer model guidance is showing rainfall totals nearing two inches by Thursday night.
The potential does exist for some flooding problems Thursday and Thursday night as the majority of the rain will come over a short period of time.
We return to dry weather Friday and Saturday before another chance for scattered showers reenters the picture on Sunday.
