Juvenile Charged After Investigation Into Damage Of Bergman Park Benches

JAMESTOWN – A juvenile is charged after an investigation into several park benches being vandalized and damaged at Bergman Park, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said they received a report from the City Parks Department June 6 of the damage. Further investigation and reviewed park video surveillance reportedly led to the identification of the suspect as a juvenile.

The juvenile was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and petitioned to appear at Probation and Family Court for the damage to the park bench at a later date.
