JAMESTOWN – More water valve work on Harrison Street between South Main Street and Foote Avenue Thursday evening is expected to cause discolored water.

Jamestown Board of Public Utilities Communications Coordinator Rebecca Robbins says the work will begin around 9:30 p.m. and continue overnight.

Robbins said once work concludes, water in the Downtown Jamestown area may be discolored for 12 to 24 hours.

Residents are advised not to do laundry until the water appears clear.
