Woman Arrested For Allegedly Biting, Hitting Person With Baseball Bat

BROCTON – A Village of Brocton woman is facing charges after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said she bit a person, hit them with a baseball bat and lit their property on fire following a dispute Thursday.

Rose M. Weary, 26, is charged with second and third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree arson.

Deputies said Weary was arraigned and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
