Rebels Player To Play In Russia Next Month

JAMESTOWN – Seth Bergeron, a defenseman who will be playing for the Jamestown Rebels in the upcoming 2019-2020 season, will be playing in the 2019 Sirius Junior Club World Cup. 

Taking place in Sochi, Russia from August 23 until August 31, Bergeron will be playing for team NAHL.

All of the games in this tournament will be played at Sochi Olympic Park, which seats a total of 7,000 fans.


With a round-robin format, team NAHL will have an exhibition game on August 19 against Krylya Sovetov of Moscow, Russia.

One of 24 total players on team NAHL’s roster, Bergeron will be entering his third season playing for the Rebels, which includes a one-year stint playing for them when they were still located in Philadelphia.

In 100 career NAHL games, Bergeron has scored 21 total points, scoring three goals and dishing 18 assists.



Team NAHL’s first game of the Sirius Junior Club World Cup will be on August 24 vs. Oulun Karpat with a noon puck drop.
