Jamestown Woman Allegedly Steals Car, Other Items

BUSTI – A Jamestown woman allegedly stole another person’s vehicle on July 15 and used their credit card to make purchases throughout Chautauqua County, according to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department.

Police said that Jennifer L. Blake, 30, was going from house to house asking for help. One person reportedly offered help before Blake allegedly stole their cell phone.

Blake allegedly stole a neighbor’s vehicle after that, and she also allegedly made purchases with the victim’s credit card and check book.











Blake was charged with two counts of petit larceny and third and fourth-degree grand larceny. She is currently in Chautauqua County Jail on $1,850 bail, according to the County Jail online inmate list.
