JAMESTOWN – SUNY JCC hired Jordan Basile Tuesday to be the next head coach for the JCC Jayhawks baseball team.

Prior to being hired by JCC, Basile spent the last two seasons as the head coach for the Patrick Henry Community College Patriots located in Martinsville, VA.

During his tenure with the Patriots, Basile won 64 games, and nearly led them to an appearance in the NJCAA College World Series during the 2019 season, falling one game short against Brunswick Community College.

Experienced in college and professional level baseball, Basile will be bringing more than 25 years of playing and coaching experience to JCC.

Basile will also be coaching the Jamestown Jammers in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League when the team resumes operations in 2020.
