POLAND – A Kennedy woman suffered serious burns in a house fire Monday morning at 2 Munson Rd, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Linda Hammerbeck, 66, was reportedly treated at the scene before being flown to ECMC.
Deputies said a second person who was at the house escaped without injury and didn’t need treatment.
The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation team was requested and conducted an on scene investigation.
At this time, a cause of the fire has not been determined and the investigation is continuing.
