Two Inmates Charged In Chautauqua County Jail Assault

MAYVILLE – Two inmates currently in the Chautauqua County Jail are charged following an assault that occurred in the jail on Aug. 6, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. 

Kyle O. Kamholtz, 33, of 102 McKinley Ave., Jamestown, and Alvin J. Jusino, 24, of 188 Falconer St., Jamestown, are charged with second-degree assault.

The victim, another inmate who wasn’t identified, was transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries he sustained during the assault. The victim was later released.


Both suspects were arraigned at the County Jail using the centralized arraignment procedure. Bail was set at $75,000.
