CHERRY CREEK – A Cherry Creek man allegedly held another person down and refused to let them leave the residence during a physical altercation at 579 Southside Ave. Wednesday afternoon, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. 

Further investigation revealed Joseph I. Chadwick, 18, allegedly started that altercation, and deputies said he allegedly tried to choke the other party involved.

Chadwick was taken to Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment on charges of second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminally obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.
