Woman Charged After Deputies Locate Children In Road Unsupervised

SILVER CREEK – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said they located two small children in the middle of the road on Routes 5 and 20 Monday with no parent or guardian around. 

Investigation revealed that Rickie L. Ecker, 29, allegedly left the children unsupervised.

Deputies arrested and charged Ecker with endangering the welfare of a child.











She is to appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
