
WASHINGTON – President Trump has released a transcript of his July call with Ukrainian’s President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The call is at the center of a controversy over whether Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, a potential election rival.
According to the document, the President said on the call that he would like to find out what happened with “this whole situation with Ukraine” and he said his personal lawyer, would be traveling to Ukraine.
Ukraine’s President said he would meet with Trump’s lawyer when he visited.
Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into the President.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy responded to Pelosi’s announcement for the GOP.
He says Pelosi owes the nation an apology.
Congressman Tom Reed released a statement within the last hour saying that the transcript revealed nothing nefarious, but democrats are quote full steam ahead, regarding impeachment.
Reed says good, hard working people have lost today.
