CHERRY CREEK – New York State Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday morning on Route 83 near Pine Valley Central School.
One male was reportedly transported by Mercy Flight to a hospital for medical treatment. No condition was listed.
District officials at Pine Valley Central School canceled classes Tuesday due to the police activity.
Police say the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are in the early stages of this investigation.
