Jamestown Duo Arrested For Allegedly Disrupting Crews Fight Fire

JAMESTOWN – Two City of Jamestown residents were arrested Saturday night after allegedly disrupting crews fight a fire on Partridge Street.

Jamestown Police say crews responded to 15 Partridge St. just after 7:45 p.m. for a house fire.

On scene, fire crews requested police backup when Blake McAffee, 27, allegedly started screaming in the face of fire personnel, preventing them from fighting the fire.


Furthermore, McAffee was so angry that when asked if he needed medical treatment he refused to answer.

After a brief struggle, officers say McAfee was taken into custody.

He is charged with unnecessary noise, two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.



Shortly after officers say Cynthia Howie, 30, arrived on scene and reportedly also started causing a scene.

She was also arrested and charged with unnecessary noise, two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

At the station, officers say Howie was spitting all over the booking room of the jail. She was additionally charged with third-degree criminal tampering.

Both were held on bail.
