SOUTH DAYTON – Pine Valley Central School has launched a program that aims to bring students and law enforcement together.

The ‘Breakfast with a Deputy’ program was created by School Resource Officer and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Hanner to reward students for their hard work and dedication, both in and out of the classroom.

Deputy Hanner says the program is all about forming relationships and creating a successful and safe learning environment within the school.

School officials say each month students will be selected for this program based on their display of character, hard work and respect.
