Sheriff’s Office Asking For Public’s Help Following String Of Home Break-ins

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is looking into several home break-ins in the Towns of Ellery, Harmony and North Harmony.

Investigators say the burglaries seem to target seasonal homes and homes that are being remodeled or are under construction.







Several items including personal effects and power tools have been removed from the locations.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help and seeking information that may lead to a suspect in the case.







Furthermore, deputies urge residents to check their properties and make sure all homes and outbuildings are locked and secured.
