JAMESTOWN – Students at Jamestown Public Schools are taking education to another dimension with augmented reality.

The district’s Technology Integration Specialist Jason Kathman recently started using the tool in Michela Tehan’s Persell Middle School art class.

Students start by playing with the tech, then writing a story, creating the story in the AR app and drawing any missing pieces to add to their world.

Then the young artists take video of their story to share with the group.
