Jamestown Police Car Involved In Friday Morning Crash

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown police car was involved in a crash Friday morning at the corner of North Main and East Second Streets.

Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings confirmed the news to WNYNewsNow.

The Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection just after 6:30 a.m. The roadway was closed to traffic following the crash.











Photos submitted to WNYNewsNow show that the police cruiser and late model Toyota involved both sustained front-end damage in the wreck.

No word if anyone was injured in the crash.

Chief Snellings says a media release with more details will be sent out later Friday.
