POMFRET – Investigators have identified the seven-year-old girl killed in a crash on Route 60 Monday afternoon.

New York State Police say Emmaline Wilcox was pronounced deceased at Brooks Memorial Hospital following the crash between a Hyundai, Kia and tractor-trailer.

Police’s preliminary investigation revealed that the Kia, stopped in the southbound lane waiting to turn left into a nearby parking lot, was rear-ended by the Hyundai.

The force of the crash pushed the Kia into the oncoming lane where it was struck by the tractor-trailer.

Police say a 35-year-old driver of the Kia suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital with young Wilcox.

The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit and the Fredonia Police Department assisted in the investigation.
