Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Area Until Noon Friday

JAMESTOWN – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon Friday for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties due to the possibility of slick winter conditions.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo says snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are likely with winds gusting as high as 40 MPH.

“Plan on slippery road conditions,” said officials. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.”

Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities, forecasters furthered. They advise motorists to slow down and use caution while driving.
