Arrest Made In Months Old Church Break-In

KIANTONE— Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged a Jamestown man with a November burglary of a local church.

Deputies charged Johnny Ray Hallowell, 24, of Allen Street, with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation into the September burglary at Koinonia Christian Fellowship Church in Kiantone.

The church office was broken into and various items, including laptop computers were stolen.


Hallowell is scheduled to be in court at a later date.
