Two New COVID-19 Cases Reported Sunday In Chautauqua County

MAYVILLE – Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Chautauqua County.

Department of Health officials say there are now 11 active cases that continue to recover in quarantine.

The two new cases include a woman in 50s and a man in his 60s.


Additionally, 204 cases are under quarantine or isolation orders by the Public Health Director and being monitored. Officials say not all of those being monitored are confirmed to have COVID-19 but have either shown symptoms, are awaiting results, or have risk factors.

Furthermore, 701 people are under domestic traveler quarantine for having arrived to Chautauqua County from a state listed on the New York State travel advisory.

One person remains hospitalized with COVID-19.



To date there are 203 recovered cases, 9 deaths, 223 total confirmed cases and 21,692 negative test results.
