Jamestown Man Arrested After Drugs, Loaded Gun Found Inside Home

JAMESTOWN – A City man has been arrested after a search of an address on Hedges Avenue Monday morning allegedly revealed a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, and a loaded handgun.

Police said they were assisted by New York State Parole and the the Chautauqua County Sheriff K9 on a parolee check on the Hedges Avenue address. Inside, officers found a quantity of marijuana and a box of ammunition.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force was then called in to assist with a granted search warrant where they also found an amount of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a loaded .380 caliber handgun.











Police arrested 20-year-old Tajah Warren and is charged with felony possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

The Lakewood-Busti K9 and New York State Police Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team also assisted in the arrest.
