Pumpkintown Ready For Halloween Event

BUSTI – Pumpkintown has released its schedule for Saturday’s Halloween celebration.

Details include Halloween hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Trick-or-Treating will be from noon to 2 p.m. Candy will be offered at the attractions by Pumpkintown employees. Participants are asked to help themselves to candy as they make their way around the grounds.


The Third Annual Halloween Costume Contest is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The contest is for children only and cash prizes/goodie baskets will be given as prizes for the first, second and third place winners in each age group. Winners will be announced and prizes dispersed immediately after their age group has finished.

Regular admission must be paid in order to participate in the contest. There is no charge for the contest, which is at the Pumpkintown Stage Area.

“Due to the pandemic, we are doing things a little different this year. You and your costume-clad little will take your place in line to walk past the judges with proper social distancing being followed! We have separated the age brackets to keep groups smaller and CDC guidelines will be closely followed. Please be respectful and responsible. Keeping everyone safe is the main priority.” the owners explained.



The age brackets are: 2 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.: Ages 0-2; 2:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Ages 3-5; 2:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Ages 6-8; and 2:45 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Ages 9-12.

Halloween Day will be the last day of the 2020 season. Pumpkintown is located at 3435 Baker St. Ext. in the Town of Busti.
