BEMUS POINT – A Bemus Point man was arrested after allegedly striking and chocking a person during a domestic dispute on Monday.

New York State Police allege 38-year-old Justin Miller pushed, struck and choked the victim in the presence of a young child.

He was later arrested at a residence in the Town of Ellicott by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Miller is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Police say he was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
