JAMESTOWN – A unique drive-through holiday event is taking place of the traditional Jamestown Christmas Parade on Friday evening.

Frank Besse, with the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, spoke with us on Thursday about the Downtown Holiday Cruise.

A number of businesses and organizations will be setting up stationery “floats” or displays in parking spaces along Third Street between Washington Street and Prendergast Avenue.

Spectators are invited to drive through and enjoy the sights from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The City’s Christmas Tree will be lit prior to the reverse-parade and will be livestreamed so that people can watch safely from home. WNY News Now will provide a livestream on our website, mobile app and Facebook page.
