MAYVILLE – 116 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Chautauqua County ahead of the New Year on Thursday.
The county’s COVID-19 dashboard reports there are now 534 active cases with 45 people hospitalized, up from 43 yesterday.
Of the new cases, 30 are in Jamestown where 145 are active.
The county’s seven-day average percent positivity rate is now 10.7 percent.
Since the outbreak started there have been 3,681 cases of the virus with 3,115 recovering.
