FALCONER – The FBI, along with local law enforcement, raided several homes and a business in and around the Falconer area this week.

Known as Operation Crazy Ivan, police recovered several pounds of marijuana, cocaine, dozens of firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammo and thousands of dollars in cash.

In total, investigators raided three locations early Wednesday morning, Turney’s Auto Repair and Sales on Route 394 in Kennedy, 2585 South Work Street Extension in Ellicott and 209 West Avenue in Falconer.

Then, throughout the day on Wednesday several other locations in Jamestown were searched with more ammo and cash discovered.

Police say as their investigation continues and charges are likely against several people involved.

The Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, Ellicott Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force assisted the FBI in the year long investigation.
